Fans of the Manx fear not dispite injury, pain and fatherhood Cargo will be entering this years Manx GP.Everyone who knows me and Sandy is invited to come and visit us in the paddock for a beer and more but remember you have to babysit for one night while we are there. Forget the "TT" come and some see some real racing at the Manx cos we race for the joy of it all NOT for the cash.
Roll on the Manx

  The Boss ! ! !
Posted by: Anonymous - 16-02-2001, 06:18 PM - Forum: Joey Dunlop - No Replies

"The Boss " as he's constantly referred to in our house , will always be in our hearts .I was lucky enough to be born and raised in Skerries and and inhereted my dads love for road racing, and after witnessing Joeys exploits at home,my dad decided to re aquaint his love for the TT , I was brought along in '74 for the first time and since wittnessed many of joey's wins,up to and including this years legendary F1 win. In all this time I always found Joey the most approachable amazing man iv'e ever come in contact with . No airs or graces,.. just joey , but when he was on the bike it was poetry .Apart from his ability on two wheels ,his humanity, compassion and composure will forever endear him to the people who watched , heard and will hear of his now legendary status .<br> The world will be a poorer place without him in it,if anything we could all try to be a little more "joey" than joe bloggs.

I lived in Northern Italy and I am a fanatic TT fan. I started to think to come to the I.O.M. in 1992, when I watched for the first time a video cassette of the TT. My only sunlight was, is and will be William Joseph ! I managed to come with my own bike in 1999 and, unfortunatly, I couldn't clapped another Joey's victory. I followed the last TT from my house with my computer on the Radio TT website, and I felt extremely happy when Joey won.......and WON........AND WON !! I was ready to see him in person this year, but a cruel fate blocked my dreams. I am sure, Joey, you will remain the BEST and nobody will be able to oscurate your magnificience ! I hope, in paradise, there is a Mountain Circuit for you, where to have fun with the other Road racers who made the history of the most beautiful motorcycle's race in the world !<br>As my friend Guy already said : " There is and will be only ONE William Joseph Dunlop "<br>R.I.P.
