David Bogie in 1950 Senior MGP
The "Reply" function seems not to be working, so I'm trying this.
David was not disqualified from the Senior, and in any case would not have suffered from using a 350. Not only did the Club accept his Senior entry on the Junior Velo, there were 35 others in the Senior programme on 350s!!
No - after finishing 4th in the Junior, he was well on for a Replica in the Senior until, on the last lap,he fell off at Cruikshanks and broke a leg.
Sorry for delay - took a bit of time finding this, but after Helen's vote of confidence, I had to have a go!!

Re: David Bogie in 1950 Senior MGP
Well placed confidence, Larry!
Jake is writing a book on the history of the Kirkcaldy and District Motor Club, who formerly ran races at Beveridge Park, and currently at Knockhill...they also have a cracking annual dance!
If Larry, or anyone else has stories or information about KDMC events or members, I am sure Jake would love to hear from you.
