RE: manx gp
Its usually difficult at the Manx to predict who is gonna be the frontrunners. Its like a coveyor belt with riders moving up to the TT every year but then Newcomers coming through and getting faster. You only get a true picture at the end of practice week..
Andy Dudgeon and Tom Weedon looking like 600 and Senior contenders, but Newcomer Michael Evans is FASTEST of them all with a lap of 119.7mph during Saturday's practice. Oustanding.
'Course I don't know what that b@stard shark's gonna do with it, might eat it I suppose. Seen one eat a rockin' chair one time.

2016 Steam Packet Company figures:-
Quote:The number of passengers the Steam Packet Company brought to the Isle of Man during the Festival of Motorcycling increased by 6.3% compared with last year, to 29,241.
The number of motorcycles carried also increased, up 4.5% to 4,013. It is the first time more than 4,000 motorcycles have been transported to the Island during the fortnight and reflects the growing interest in the event, as figures for just five years ago stood at 2,641.
There was also an increase in the number of cars, vans and trailers transported, rising by 4.6% to 5,782.
A 50% increase in motorcycles attending in 5 years and you think that's 'an absolute mess' ? The MGP cannot survive without visitors and the Festival of Motorcycling has been incredibly successful, perhaps you should go and see for yourself next year? (but you'd better book early because at least 30,000 people disagree with you)
