I had my 65th last month and was able to nip home quickly from the Middle East for a family party. (Plus cutting the grass and hedges )

When I'm home next, I will try to ride down to Andover to buy you a pint. I'm only at Fleet, must be less than 40 miles.

I couple of years ago, I was able to drop in on Ian. Must find time to go back and share that pot of tea. (Or get him to sign his book that I will be buying )

I had a wonderful day with Pamela and with our friends in Staines.
A wonderful Italian meal in good company at a restaurant oposite Windsor Castle. This followed by a musical at the delightful Theatre Royal also in Windsor. "Half a Sixpence." Not evryones cup of tea, but so Gary Wilmot was such a pro and its was fun! ....."Hold, it....what a picture!"
Then on saturday, to the Emirates Stadium to see my beloved Gunners play. The experience is not as good as Highbury, bt we did win.

Life is good these days....
