Thank you.

Better still...

http://www.ssmanxman.orangehome.co.uk/

I'd bet there's plenty enough loot in the Manx exchequer to pay for the full restoration. Get her seaworthy again, base her in Douglas and do round the Island cruises. You'd make a mint.

The old Lady of Mann (1930-1971) is the one I first came on in 1964 8)

It hasn't changed much has it? Summerland has been built and then knocked down and the Villa Marina has been knocked down and then built......and that's it. Reminds me of Aberystwyth where I lived for a long while - old Victorian pictures were like modern postcard views - nowt altered!!

There's been a few more changes than that...........

As I tell anyone within earshot outside the Hilton carpark on a drunken Saturday night............."I remember the Lido"

What about the Villiers ?

I read somewhere tha the Waterloo is to close

Hope someone can resurrect the Midnight Matinee!
I saw On Any Sunday first time in Strand Street, then went for a lap on the way back to the digs.[/img]
