Dean Martin RIP
Sad news for the start of the Pre-TT racing.  Condolences to Dean Martin's family and wishes for speedy recovery to Jamie O'Brien and the marshalls involved in the incident.

Without Marshalls - no racing - so hopefully they will stil have enough volunteers to cover the race days.

Disgusted that the TT website is not even mentioning this incident on its news page - this does not seem to be being updated at all!  The least they could do is to offer support to those involved!

I hope you are not referring to this website, as the official Press Rease notification was published in the Southern 100 Section at 09:19 on Saturday morning, immediately after receipt of the official email, and not before any speculative and unofficial "news" that was being spread in various internet  media.

RE: Dean Martin RIP
RIP Dean. Wishing everyone involved a speedy recovery. It's sad to hear about the loss of a rider, but they are all aware of the risks. Unfortunately, when bystanders or marshals are involved, the situation becomes even worse. Let's all hope for a safe TT fortnight ahead!
