Is It Bye Bye Supersport 600?
What do people think about the loss of the 600 class in the near future? Manufacturers aren't making as many as they did and race series around the world seem to be preparing to drop them. WSB have introduced the SuperSport300 class with Kwak 300, KTM 390s and CB500...
When there is no interest from riders an teams (or new bike available) what should the TT do to replace the class. I'd be a bit upset to drop down to just Superbike, Superstock and twins. Would the 300 class be suitable for the TT? Are they really in the same league as 125 we used to see?

RE: Is It Bye Bye Supersport 600?
I'm not sure what the answer is and I'm not sure the 300s are right for the TT. I'd like to see more variety and I do have a soft spot for smaller bikes but it's a massice gap betweena 300cc street bike to a 1000cc superbike. With the loss of the Supersport 600s there doesn't seem to be any middle ground anymore. I'm sure people will be racing 600s for a long time to come but they'll go the way of the 400cc bikes and just end up being old machines.
