You are correct there were only 4 retirements. I took the number of starters from the official results sheet where it states that there were 11 non starters, 71 finishers and 6 retirements, thus giving 77 starters. On checking my Race Guide there were only 75 starters, 11 non starters and only 4 retirements. Apologies for misleading you.
