Went to Tram Road, Christchurch where Russell Wright and Robert Burns broke the motorcycle speed records on a Vincent exactly 50 years and a day ago. Yep, missed the celebrations by a day! Nice plaque there presented by the local VOC section. Also the next road where the Britten also broke records. Met Harry Ruffell who produced One Man's Dream and also visited the grave of John Britten, the leader of an incredible bunch of guys who made the fabulous v-twin.
