The paper only gave half the story. In the Ladies 50m prone match Pat finished 11th in her first true International, beating quite a few Commonwealth aces to boot. Not for for an old bird who first picked a rifle up at the age of 60! (she never reads this site - I hope!).
Now in New Zealand; no wonder they produce a crop of TT winners, the roads are great practice grounds! Get off the ferry at Picton, then turn right up the hill!!! Fabulous, but probably a lot better on two wheels than in a campervan!
