Jason Griffiths and Chris McGahan went over the timing strip at the bungalow neck & neck, with McGahan some 4 seconds behind at the hairpin.

Griffiths comes through on his own with McGahan some 11 seconds behind, then Bill Swallow followed by Bob Price, a big gap then to John Goodall and Doug Snow with Tim Johnstone on their tail, then John Loder and Mark Linton
