Bill Ivy & Phil Read 26p - Who cannot forget the year-long duels
between Yamaha works teammates and rivals pocket-rocket' Bill
Ivy and 'rebellious' Phil Read, Read was to win Yamaha's first
TT victory, the 1965 125cc race. but the highlight of this period
was undoubtedly Bill Ivy's 100mph lap on the 1968 125, awesome'
was the consensus of opinion at that time, Team orders that
day dictated the win should go to Read, so Ivy stopped at the
Creg on the last lap and allowed Read to take the win.
