Pat truly WAS a great rider and gave us so much pleasure.
After all these years, I hadnt realsed that a bird strike caused the hgh speed crash, that fateful day at Bishopscourt.
That Suziki team certainy had some bad luck.
My last vivid memory of Pat Hennen was the sight of him neck and
neck alongside Tom Herron along the Cronk y Voddy straight!
Tom was using his hand like a jockey with a whip.
