Whilst Silicone Engineering Racing, sponsors of the Post TT Road Races are showing some of their iconic racing machines, some of which have created history around the Southside course.
Other racing exotica is promised from Chris McGahan; Chris Palmer; Dave Madsen-Mygdal, Kneenja Racing; Bob Dowty and Ducati ‘experts’ the Rich’s Bool and Hawkins.
In addition to Southern 100 Racing promting their 2022 road races, other Isle of Man road racing organisations present include the Manx Motor Cycle Club; Isle of Man Scrutineers Association; Hogg Motorsport; Andreas Racing Association and the IOM TTMA.
Club Chairman, George Peach said:
‘Normally we would be in the final preparations of ensuring that the Colas Billown Course was ready for the start of the Isle of Man team Packet Company Southern 100 Road Races with many of the competitors setting up their bases in the Race Paddock. However with the cancellation of the 2021 races due to the Covid pandemic, the idea of holding a Motorcycle Show was put forward and we have received an incredibly positive response and as a club we are looking forward to welcoming the race teams that have confirmed their presence, some with some very iconic racing machines which have added to the history of the Southern 100, Pre-TT Classic and Post TT Races through the years, along with the other stall holders.
‘With over 50 stands we hope the weather will be kind and look forward to welcoming everyone to the Southern 100 Motorcycle Show and hope that it will be as popular as ‘the friendly races’.
The Southern 100 Motorcycle Show takes place in the Race Paddock on Saturday 10th July between 10.00 and 4.00pm, with Evening Entertainment at the ‘Party in The Train Triangle’ between the Sidings and Viking Public Houses from 5.00pm till 11.30pm with Live Bands.
