WHO are these riders then ?I
Please date these riders with names and machines.

The front riders helmet is a bit of a giveaway

Definitely not Chris Conn Pykey - his helmet was black/white with a small no 7 in a circle at the front.

I still reckon John Knowles.

Elwyn?

Must confess I'm too busy/lazy to hunt the archives just at present, but if this goes on I'll have to!!!

I have always wondered so dug out the postcard, very high start numbers and card is from the 60's
The programme with these high numbers was 1967 Senior, 106 ian Ablett,BSA and Alan Prange on a Matchless 107. Stand to be corrected

Re: WHO are these riders then ?I
I haven't got any pics of these guys, but I think it is the 1968 Senior. The leading rider looks like Adrian Cooper (Norton, 107), followed by Mick Burns (BSA Metisse, 106). The second bike looks to have the same Metisse type fairing I had on the Velo Metisse. Burns rode eight TTs without a finish, Cooper rode the Harrow Suzuki and Norton, four finishes from seven rides with a best of third in the 1971 500 Production race.
