Beepee, you are correct about the Rgina chain.

Speculation is that it "broke" because Ago was running on a normal split link joiner, instead of a fully riveted joint.
Renold Chains were performing the scrutineering and riveting service at the time but their links would not fit the Regina chain.
Ago was "allowed" out using the split link.
I was priviledged to work for Renolds at the time and blagged my way into "helping".

So no one knows who Barney is.................
Barney is or possibly given his record a was a dog who "got loose" in Ramsey on the last day of the MGP 2004 ( I think) causing a considerable delay

I'd forgotten about him, and we don't know the name of the black and white dog which caused the delay which allowed Moly to fix his bike and go on to win a race this year. Nicky might have a name for it!
