There will be a lot of tears shed at Garryduff tomorrow

This must surely a piece of road racing history.

Hard to believe on Monday night I was in Tilly Molloys, Armoy drinking tea and eating traybakes with Robert and all the families of of the original Armoy Armada Joey, Mervyn and big Frank.

The Dunlops a road racing dynasty.

This might be a big call, but has there ever been a greater and more courageous performance in road racing history? I certainly can't think of one. Simply incredible.

Lucky enough to have access at NObles today as working and saw
Michael's incrediable win, his dad would be so proud of him today, what courage to find the strength to go out there and join in the family history of winners.

Michael said
"I had to do it for him. I am so proud. It's my dad's home circuit and he was my best friend round here"

That was the gutsiest performance I have ever seen and I am not ashamed to say I was in bits this morning when Michael won.

I reckon Robert was riding with him and that was worth a few miles an hour. You could tell in the last couple of miles that nothing was going to stop Michael from winning.

Even when I replayed the story to my other half this evening I was cholked up talking about it.

That has to be the bravest performance in an sport ever the likes of which I don't think will ever be repeated.

That win will be told, re told and told again, long after we're all gone. And to think, we saw it. Magic.

Watched that race today and could not believe the courage that the boys showed as they appeared for the warm up lap.

Then when Michael decided to race i think i rode every inch with him.

Never seen such a good 250 dice for many a long year, was willing him on and cried openly watching the last lap.

He did himself, his family but most of all his daddy proud

Unbelievable days racing, hence my post to Mervyn Whyte.
