Rider from 60s/70s.first name gary,little bloke rode honda,they used to put whieghts on his bike .

The picture was taken in 1966; that year he finished 13th in the Ultra Lightweight TT.
Any relation to the Steele that formed part of Dickinson Steele business?

I also think that the GARY in question was spelt GARRY, could be mistaken but my mate Garry Dickinson was named after him. There is also a plaque to this rider on the wall post at the house that was Gwens on the exit of Ballaugh.

I remember seeing Gary Dickinson racing at Aintree, Liverpool on his 125 Honda. With his small stature he was was not a fast starter but once he got going he was very quick. In those days of course it was a run and bump start.
