Posted by: Anonymous - 26-03-2001, 08:49 PM - Forum: Manx Grand Prix & Former Classic TT - No Replies

OK guys,

There were a few Irish lads at Croft this past weekend having a good weekends racing on good tracks. Mark and Ali seemed to enjoy it and were well rewarded for making the trip with some excellent results.

If anyone wants to do some racing over here this year, drop me a line if i can be of any help

Cheers

Gavin Bell

Hi Cargo,

Good to have spoken to you at the weekend, even if not in too coherent a manner........

Good to see Ali Nichol and Mark Sanlon at Croft having good fun and good results. Perhaps we may see more of the Irish racers over this side of the pond, if the F&M disease puts a halt to racing back home.

Catch ya later

Gav

Manx GP superstar, international man of mystery and Chinese space agency test pilot Gavin Bell won two races at Croft on Sat.What a pity there where NO spectators there to see it.Not even Gavins son Harry but then he's a Seamus Greene fan. :-)

It's great to see two MGP stalwarts getting so much use out of this board. I'm sure nearer the time, you'll be joined by many similar minded people.

I'll speak to you both. I had some good craic with you Cargo that day we were waiting for the Lightwieght at Sulby Bridge.

Speak soon

I am looking to beg lease or buy a good 400 for a competitive former MGP rider who is making his return to the MGP this year.
If anyone can help, please E-Mail me, this rider is capable of a podium on a decent 400.

Never would i have thought back in 1988 when i first visited the TT that some years later i would be standing in gasoline alley waiting to change the visor on Joey`s helmet in the junior and senior races of year 2000. What an honour it was too, to be a part of his pit crew, allbeit in a small way.
