Anyone know what the incident was at Ballagarey last night.

So, I left home at 05:00 on Saturday to catch the ferry from Liverpool

A short while after 06:00 I was notified of a text, pulled into a lay-by to read it and was informed that my ferry had been cancelled (a couple of minutes latter a friend who lives on the Island texted me the same information)

Used my phone to reschedule the ferry, earliest sailing is the 02:00 from Heysham on Thursday

5 days of my trip lost (and 100 mile drive wasted) - gutted

At least I should get to see all the racing

I'm sure there were lots of others affected by storm Betty - sympathies to all

I've been going to the island since 1976 and never had a ferry cancelled before, so I've probably been lucky in the past

I have a eye op for an 'oil change' this afternoon so will be offline for a few days likely.

I am sorry but applications to join and other admin matters will necessarily be delayed dealing with.

Sunday 27th august . Spectators Speed controlled lap. All welcome pit lane 9am starts at 10. I presume its on open roads. Should be interesting. Got to give it a try..
